A Note on Blanton’s, Weller, Eagle Rare, Col. E. H. Taylor, Blood Oath, Old Forester Birthday Bourbon, Pappy Van Winkle, Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, and other highly allocated whiskeys:

Allocations of Blanton’s, Weller, Eagle Rare, Henry McKenna, and other whiskeys that are released year-round happen infrequently and sell through incredibly quickly. We cannot anticipate when we will receive delivery of them. We do not announce allocations. We put released bottles on the shelf on a first-come-first-served basis. There are no holds or lists.

Allocations of the most highly sought after whiskeys typically occur in late November and they are held until a time when we are able to release them in an orderly manner. For the past several years we have released them as part of a Charity Auction Event where the amount bid over retail is donated to charity. The Date and Time for this Event is typically the first weekend of December. We do not yet know how COVID will affect the 2020 release. Details will be announced on on this website, our Facebook page, and at both Winetree store locations. These whiskeys are not available at any other time of the year.
